Dr Georgina Davis is a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist working exclusively at Northern Beaches Hospital. She grew up in, and around, the beaches however completed her undergraduate degree and medical training through The University of Otago in Dunedin and Christchurch School of Medicine.
Georgina completed the majority of her training through the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Network spending time at RPA, Canterbury and the Tweed Hospitals. She was the Senior Registrar at Manly Hospital in 2017 and then at Northern Beaches Hospital in 2018. She was awarded her Fellowship at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2019.
Georgina holds a Clinical Senior Lecture position with Macquarie University and was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2022. She is actively involved in supervising junior Obstetrician Gynaecologists as a RANZCOG training supervisor.
Georgina is a supportive and empathetic practitioner and a specialist in low and high-risk pregnancy; antenatal, birth and postnatal care. Her special interests include twins, medically complex pregnancies, vaginal birth after caesarean, as well as helping families navigate pregnancies after loss. She is committed to providing collaborative, up to date, evidence based and woman centred care. She supports birth choice including offering maternal assisted caesarean section.
As a busy mum of two primary school aged boys you might spot her running around after them locally or catching some down time jumping in the ocean at South Steyne and setting off around the point on the beautiful Manly to Shelly swim.
