Dr Victoria Bennett is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist working in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and Upper North Shore, specialising in pregnancy and women’s health care. She holds public appointments at both Hornsby-Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital.
Victoria obtained her medical degree through the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester, UK. She started her Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty training in Melbourne before moving to the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 2020 to complete her RANZCOG fellowship and gain experience in gynaecological and laparoscopic surgery.
Victoria provides evidence based patient centred care with a calm, down-to-earth approach. She is dedicated to caring for women at all stages of their pregnancy journey from pre-pregnancy counselling, early pregnancy complications and recurrent miscarriage, through to managing both low and high-risk pregnancies. She is interested in the treatment of a wide range of women’s gynaecological issues including abnormal cervical screening and colposcopy, contraception, pelvic pain and ovarian cysts, heavy or abnormal bleeding and post-menopausal health. She prides herself on providing up-to-date and individualised care. She offers water birth and maternal assisted caesarean section.
Victoria is involved in education of medical students at Macquarie University and the University of Sydney and provides lectures to psychologists for the Gidget Foundation.
Victoria lives on the Northern beaches with her husband and two young sons, who you will often see her chasing after on Freshwater beach.
